last night's dreams- for "last night &tonight"

1. A girl's profile-someone says to her"your hair is so soft" she nods slowly. she says "it wasn't before."
   
2. A library-behind the counter a boy looks at a huge pale choc-chip cookie. I can hear my muffled voice as I speak to him. He looks doubtful and offhand. I leave the library. I am walking down a dark granite stairwell I see the boys long legs in dark jeans running behind me. He gives me a torn piece of the large pale cookie. He smiles at me. I walk down the stairs looking at the pale cookie in my hand.
